Happy Mouth - Jointed Pelham
(BBIPMJ)

Pelham combines the actions of a double bridle in one bit. A rein on the middle ring gives a horse direct pressure to turn and the second
rein attached to the bottom ring activates leverage. It is a useful bit for a horse especially in need of double bridle control but for some
reason(ie. too thick tongue) cannot use two bits in a mouth. Because the mouthpiece is soft, Happy Mouth Pelham is often seen at the
introduction stage of two reins. A rigid but soft single joint with pelham.
